Already I've made 2 variations of the chail mail designs. Which one do you folks prefer? I'll admit I'm a little partial to the one on the right:

Here I like the first one best; the others hardly give the idea of armour anymore.

Technically the first and the second are perfect, but the third has diffuse lines revealing that was cut, that details turns more evident every time you noticed it.

Version 1.2 is released! (For some reason I can't edit my original post mad)

I've posted version 1.2 on the Nexus:

I can't get anything but the robes to work. They are sexy though. Chain, leather, and plate all show the original models in game and character selection.

I'm running version 1.0.67.0 of divinity with version 1.2 of your mod. Never tried 1.1 or earlier.

My Data folder looks like this:

Strange, data folder looks good to me. Me and a bud of mine use the mod as well and all is peachy with us, wanted to thank MrEsturk for his wonderful work on this little project.

-> Try removing the .Pak files from the mod, redownload the 1.2 version from Nexus and reinstall the mod.

just wanna drop in and say thanks! Really love the redesigned armors and it doesnt make robes look so damn silly (guess that is your other mod)

on a sidenote for your 2nd 'plate' design: (and i sooooo couldnt resist - and I hope it is within the board's regulations ^^)

Nope confirmed, the mod no longer works, neither does anything that is .pak file related (other mods from Nexus). Think it's got something to do with the latest changes to the .pak file reading method?

Out of curiosity, would it be possible to add the "loincloth" part of the female mage robe to some of the leather/chain/plate variants to create a sort of "barbarian" look for both genders?

I know next to nothing about piddling with models and the like, otherwise I'd do it myself. Of course, if someone would be gracious enough to point me in the direction of programs and associated tutorials, I'd be glad to look into it.

Confirmed on my side as well, I released a mod yesterday that's no longer working since the patch. also, as you mentioned, the reading method of the .pak files changed and Norbyte's LS tools can no longer unpack the updated base .pak files (I tried "Textures.pak").

I'm running some tests at the moment, though its a bit of a headache as my update version of the game is acting just plan unstable in regards to mods:

Notice some of the stuff is working... some of its not... and what works is random with each bootup. Converting my some of my pak files to v9 didn't help much. So now I'm extracting Main and Textures Pak to see if the naming conventions have changed, some other issue, or going to find out that the pak file priority system is just a buggy mess now.

I have updated this mod to use an unpacked format, which appears to work on the newest versions of Divinity without issue. Posted it on the Nexus:
