A game with great combat (better than even BG series) and great graphics (yeah, outdated but still looks excellent) is crippled by poor dialogue design.

I am avoiding spoilers, so the examples are oblique...

Okay, I was stumped about how to get through the force field to capture rescue someone. I asked the question 6 hours ago and got the answer.

The force-field is down now, the character is rescued and standing right in front of you. Why is the question on the force-field still in the dialogue tree? And, it will remain there for the rest of the game?

One character accuses another of some evil deeds, asking you to kill him. No option to ask the prospective victim anything about the accusations. You can kill either of them without knowing who was right.

Well after you solve a murder case and gained reputation in the town, there are stray characters who still repeat the same dialogue from the start of the game.

The list goes on. Completed quests and resolved questions stick around in the dialogue tree to remove all sense of immersion. Dialogue options that obviously must be there are often missing.

Fix it Larian! The story is dragged down by crappy dialogue choices.
