Just thought I would say hello and thanks for the game. Not quite sure how this little gem managed to avoid my gaze for so many years but after buying the developers edition via steam I am well and truly hooked. I noticed everyone seems to have moved on to Divinity original sin which I must say looks fantastic. Hopefully at some point I will get to look at that as well. Great work Larian. smile

Yeah, Divinity II is a gem. I couldn't bear to beat Oblivion (and I tried twice) but completing DKS was no problem (other than some bugs).

Divinity Original Sin is an entirely different kind of RPG and unquestionably Larian's best game.

Well having read numerous reviews and watched the videos I got original sin today. I could have waited for it to go on sale but I reckon that may be a while and it looks just too good to miss. To compare it to classics such as Baldurs Gate and Planescape Torment is an accolade on its own. I want to finish DK first but just know OS will be calling me now lol.

I also started playing Divinity 2 and love the game. I plan to finish the 2 Divinity 2 games, then Dragon Commander, then Original Sin for the full Larian experience. All while drinking some Belgian ale. Life is good.

well I have played this game at 2011 but never know there was a forum for this, honestly this game really annoying because some of bugs (oh great then I have to play it again from the start) but I admit the story is really amazing

I always play woman character since last dragon knight was woman(Talana)and play for int build since Maxos was great mage

BTW what is different ego draconis and DKS?

DKS contains the add-on Flames of Vengeance. In terms of things remastered or changed in the D2:ED section of DKS since the original release, there were quite a few (mostly) small changes to skills, enchantments, loot, etc, more set and unique equipment was added to the game (and the D2:ED sets moved), stat requirements for equipment were removed, changes were made to enemies and their placement, boosts to some quest and enemy experience (particularly to help levelling early in the game and at the start of the fjords, to address difficulty spikes some people had trouble with entering the main part of Broken Valley and starting on the flying fortresses in the fjords). In DKS / D2:DC magic damage bonuses from equipment are added to spell damage, so mages should duel wield weapons with magic damage bonuses/enchantments, and Magic Missile is even more effective. The level dependence of combat was reduced, so opponents more than a few levels above you would not be impossible, and opponents more than a few levels below could still be a bit of a threat in groups. The flying fortresses were also redesigned (to make them more fortressy) and all but one of the anti-dragon shields and generators were removed.

thanks, BTW I play on PC yeah I known for some bug from another website (mostly when after you get battle tower, when you start your quest on orobas fjord)

although it last edition still find that bug but from my experience that bug usually you will meet when your main quest aren't not in that area so usually I always go for the main quest first until the main quest is on that area then I will doing all side quest on that area

here I have meet some bug :

- when you mindread some npc then you go for their chest, you will find it's already empty (peavey, willy, npc who give you wanted villain quest at orobas fjords inside champion harbour yeah I forget the name, also charlie goblin when you mindread that there is malachite on his chest but yeah it's empty)

- missing montagu when you arrive at slayer camp (orobas fjords) looks like this bug is a error or something because after this I try go to high hall and I meet sfadilfari and he try to attack me just like another enemy LOL(enemy at red hammer tribe)

- on high hall (orobas fjords) when doing quest rune of wrath but stuck on barrier, really pain in the ass and I ask my friend that he tell me it's bug you should have lots of save games and reload it again then I find it out that I meet bug missing monster troll runekeeper who will drop stone for open the barrier

Montagu should be at the back of the slayer camp, on the first level up, near the entrance that leads to the door to the prison teleporter, but not in the alcove.

Svadilfari should be friendly when you first approach, but can turn hostile then (depending on your conversation options), or later.

If the troll runekeeper is missing, you can still proceed if you have the Developer's Cut version of the game: Totally stuck in High Hill troll cave.

yeah actually my friend told me to create lots of save game so I can reload from different saves game although it's really annoying because sometimes I already get great magic item but you must reload it again and the item you get will not the same

Great game as I have discovered--the Developer's Cut is the one to have, imo. I'd like to see more of this kind of thing from Larian.

I also like DD (and I agree with the Developer's Journal about the title--I wouldn't have believed it went down that way if I hadn't read it...;)), and I even sort of like BD although I confess I'm still trying figure out some things about that game...!

But DII, in its DC form? Masterpiece material, imo. Shows what Larian can really do.

Also am enjoying D:OS a great deal, although it is an entirely different sort of game than DII. I like D:OS so much that I've started over three times (after only 4-5 hours of play each time) with different characters just to scope them out a bit better, and I'm still finding things I missed entirely in the other starts! I've settled on starting with a Ranger and a Wizard, and then picking up the other two, that I'm trading out at various times in the Hall of Heroes...;) Great stuff!

I'm never wrong about anything, and so if you see an error in any of my posts you will know immediately that I did not write it...;)

I play so many games (western + japan) I don't know only this game looks like so fun when you start on new again and again.......

I don't know maybe because it's story.......the story really show daily event, some reality, that joke + funny moment and many more but what make really deep like this game is dragon knight was maligned by villain surely what will you do if you are good guy but everyone treat you like a bad guy who should be killed and yeah I really hate that slayer although I admit that pity + poor Rhode, really hope someday someone help her + show her the truth about dragon + dragon knight
