Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems uninstall and preserving savegames/character

Hey


Approaching the end of DD (boo-hoo)........and once complete I will want to uninstall it to keep my system from getting weighed down (will obviously reinstall to play another character build at later date!)

Can someone give me an idiot's rundown on how to preserve my savegames (and hence my character) before I uninstall the game?

All you do is go to the savegame folder and select the character you want to save, right click and zip it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
Then it's fine to move it wherever you want!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
