Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General License and Installation question

Ok, this might be a stupid question, so forgive me please.

I just received the Boxed Collections Edition yesterday. I installed it using the contained CD and license, then it went to Steam and downloaded 6 additional gigs of game data. Its all ready to play.

Problem is, I will be playing in 1 household with 2 computers. But, I only have 1 Steam account. You can only log into 1 steam account at a time. How do I install the game on the second computer so we can play together.

In addition, I also have a second license. So do I need to install the game on the second computer using the 2nd license under the same Steam account, or do I have to create another Steam account and install it under that name?

How will we ever be able to LAN together with one steam account? This is why I don't particularly care for Steam games.

well the game is tied to your Steam account so you could both play it using the same license but not at the same time

Best is to create another steam account for the other guy and use the second license there and you will have no problems playing same time

While the company probably prefers you buy a 2nd copy if you want to play with someone else, same house or not, the game does not need steam to function. Just copy the data folder to the other computer

The CE includes two licenses.
