Trying to free her, and I did a very bad thing and looked at a walkthrough (thought there was a way without killing the guard, since he actually had a real name rather than a generic thief name). But it says just to talk to him, then leave, and the guy will go to relieve himself. But this never happens. I've went through every dialog choice, and waited over an hour, and the guy never steps away. Anything I'm forgetting to do?
(I have the quest to get the book, have a 34 reputation, haven't freed Zandalor, and haven't done the lockpicking bet yet).
