i am quite far into the game now level 21 or so but my resistance levels have dropped from +150 on average to all minus 1 million?????? is this a technical lets reload the game sort of a thing or is there a quick fix. its starting to iritate cause things that use poison are now killing me with 1 blow please help

ahh, I think the new patch does it, if not, the new patch and reinstalling the game does it.

Its like DvB sais, it is known as the resistance bug. You can patch the game, or put 1 point in magic barrier.

have u used any cheats on ur game?
because i did that once and i found out it was a terrible mistake cuz my hero was weaker than a level 2 sumtimes and i deleted the cheat manual thing i put on it and used on it and it didnt work till i uninstalled and re-insalled 5 times and lost ALL my saves because it cant b undone without doing that and i lost my favourite charecter which Kiya looked after 4 me but she was 2 weak 2 do nefin and was deleted so if u have used cheats please read aboveinstructions of what 2 do and if u dont understand pm me or ask these guys <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

cheers to all of you who posted. what does the patch do? how do i load it? i actually went to an old save with my character and found out that if you put a charm of resistance on imp gloves it knackers up all your resistances as when i got back to the point i thought it happened the same did but i had saved aware of what may happen. just thought id let you all know that. DONT USE RESISTANCE CHARMS ON IMPS GLOVES

There is a list of fixes on the page with the patch (once you pick the language); you just need to download it and then run it to install.
The resistance bug was due to unequipping an item with a bonus to Magic Barrier, if you had not put any points into the skill yourself.

Just be sure you

a) have enough disk space free for patching, and

b) don't have a virus scanner running meanwhile running the Patch.

c) under Windows XP, make sure it is installed from an account with administrative privileges.
