Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Can't pass Castle gate blue barrier in Hiberheim

I'we cleared the area Hiberheim forest but the castle area because I cant seem to find a way to get past the blue barrier blocking the path (to what i assume) is Boreas castle. I found a scroll/paper (in the Fire forge area I think) which said 'Orders' - this paper is gone from my inventory, but (as I'we read from Google searches), have turned into a scroll called "Cultist spell" ("shimmering" icon). I stand in front of the Blue barrier, reading the scroll, but get the message "Nothing seems to happen". From what i understand, reading this scroll should give me a chance to remove the barrier by talking to the Castle gate (I only get the option "Abracadabra" or "Leave". Bug? If I was better at keeping many different savegames, I could check it out, but as it is, it would take me hours...

Sorry - found it - the paper/scroll actually is titled "Orders" - reading this removed the barrier - cant believe I didn't see it in my inventory ><

I had exactly the same just now,

since i am a massive hoarder of items i quite depend on the filters in my inventory, i have searched my inventory, but somehow the item "orders" that is quite an important item to be able to pass this barrier and to be able to complete the mcwhishing well quest , is categorized under ingredients, and not even as a quest item,

edit, somehow the gate got bugged afterall and i cant even interact with it as stated in several place :<

There is also a way to go around it and never dispell the blue barrier
