Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Immaculates don't think I have Loic's Blessing

So I'm on the Initiation quest/Infiltration quest and I answered the questions correctly to Loic and he says for me to go to the western path and tell the Immaculates I have his blessing to go to the dungeon. But they say I do not have his blessing still. And attack me if I walk past.

I did already finish Hiberheim so maybe that broke something.

By looking at the map I guess I could maybe get to the dungeon going through Goblin territory but I would prefer not to.

Is it broken or am I missing something? I've reloaded and done the questions again but same problem.

You can just kill them. The only time his blessing changed anything was when you talk to the statue in the first hall of the Foreboding Trials place. However, even then it's not needed to actually progress in the Foreboding Trials, I managed to get past that statue room another way, but it moves the quest along and updates your journal.

Good to know. I figured I could just kill them and get on with it but was just wondering if it would further break the quest. I'll just kill them off this time and maybe next playthrough I'll see if it gets wonky again.
