This is not a request for info, i, like many denied the "shady business" thing with brandon and now i cant get tenebrium ability to my party only thru a book just for one of them, being such an important capability shouldnt u guys at Larian, FIX this thing? like allow to get the "shady business" thing again and not just once, because after i denied it i did a lot of things, and i cant just undo all and go back to that part i'd simply abandon the game and move on to some other game, this game has its fair share of impossible to guess situations, how i was supposed to know that such a petty request was SO essential in the future? only the developers, they should make sure that the important parts get to be done for sure, and getting that skill is key to advance in the future without problems, cos one guy in the party wont cut it.

Checkout my thread on Tenebrium. Depending on how many points you sunk into your existing weapon abilities, you might now want Tenebrium weapons.

I'm in the same boat. I told Brandon "another time" not realizing that Larian had designed in that there would never be "another time" now I am at that point of hours ahead of that and I have no desire to go back and do those mines over or the trials and now that i think about it all of that happened before I even cleared Hiberheim!!

Pissed. Now I don't know how to proceed. I read through the thread of Songbird's and am trying to make sense of that discussion. Is it going to be ok that only one char might end up with the Tenebrium skill or am I going to get my whole party killed quick in later fights say in the Phantom forest?

Not liking this at all. I was loving this game until I started reading up on this Tenebrium crap and realizing that I might have to replay a whole weekend's gaming!

No, tenebrium weapons aren't the end all be all, I think there's only 1 instance where you need it to destroy something and 1 char is enough. Tenebrium weapons usually do better damage but there are always exceptions

Ok thanks Oli. I'll keep plodding forward. I have one two handed tank I want to give the weapon to so I guess I'll have to start boosting his crafting stats soon.

i still think it's horrible that we have been literally screwed by this decision, what makes it worse is the whole tenebrium thing that invalidated the whole weapon leveling thru the game, they should just get rid of that if they intended to use tenebrium as be all end all, sure u might be able to finish the game without having it in ur whole party but it's gonna suck, besides, u'd be having just one guy with tenebrium and the rest what do they do? just buff and watch? sure they can do some damage but compared to the tenebrium damage it's laughable please guys fix this thing ASAP, sad that i got this game as a gift otherwise i'd demand a refund, i had to withstand all the strange decisions and weird puzzles some have clues others are so weird that without forums i would have never known what to do, top that with the fact that at the end it seems that there's a "right" way to go thru the game so u dont end with screwed up quests that unfinishable, this is quite frustrating.
