Hello!

The text in my game is displaying incorrectly. Menus are fine but the in game dialogue subtitles and overhead text displays are missing letters. It's very bizarre.

It's very distracting as well as somewhat incoherent at times. Please assist. Thank you.

'T is app ars to be br ken'

Check your cache. Probaly a xml issue.

I wish I knew what that meant.

Can you walk me through it quick or point me in the direction of some, well, directions please?

In Steam, right-click on D:OS and select Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

One question, are you forcing AA on your video card? That's known to cause graphical issues with the text.

I see a similar issue sometimes after extended play (restarting the game fixes it). Many (but not all) of the letters flicker, making them almost illegible - this affects all on-screen text (combat window, main window subtitles and conversation windows).

Given the circumstances, I'd suspect a memory issue especially since it has become less frequent with later patches and a save/quit/restart seems to fix it.
