Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Bug or What? Immaculate Trials first door

So I am on the quest "The Initiation" and doing Immaculate Trials.

I just entered the dungeon after killing spiders. I first see a statue that is called "trial statue". I then continue on to a long green hallway. But at the end of this hallway the door is locked. I can not go through it to start the trials.

Bug or what? I currently have rot infection also.

If I remember correctly there should be a switch somewhere near the locked door.

I see no switch, just a body named "mendius" which has a note to a secret.

Actually i just watched 2 videos of it, the door just opens. Seems like im bugged, time to restart ...again..ugh.

Maybe I'm supposed to finish the mines first? Hmm...
