levels?

I have not bothered to play with some level 5 ranger yet, but the rest of my party is level 10, and the highest companion I can seem to hire is level 5.

I have 2 fighters in my party and 2 mages. I want to drop a fighter and fit in a ranger for better variety, but I can't do that if the only henchmen are so much lower in level can I?

I suppose they will catch up with rest of the party, but never fully.

Dismissing them and readding them to the party should automatically adjust their level to yours.

However any henchman after the first 2 has reduced attributes so you're at a disadvantage if you plan to switch henchmen.
