Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Help/Tips/Tricks Tenebrium Skill Post-Troll King Quest

All - after getting the Troll King quest from Brandon and getting Tenebrium, I opted to keep the tenebrium instead of handing it over to Brandon, causing him to run away (at least to the best of my recollection, it was a long time ago.) I'm now getting to the point of where I'm going to need the Tenebrium weapons to be able to kill the void spawns, and only one of my characters has the handling ability from the book in Sacred Stone. Is there any way around this? Seems a little game breaking unless you knew beforehand how grave your choice in this quest was going to be...

I never got the quest from Brandon in the first place and I feel like Larian handled this quest very poorly. When I entered Silverglen I started talking to everyone like I learned was a good idea from Cyseal and the one common thread I got was that tenebrium was bad and it gives rot which will kill you very quickly and then I spoke to some guy (Brandon) who wanted me to handle some of this tenebrium stuff and of course I declined. Little did I know that rot was absolutely pathetic and that tenebrium weapons were not only very powerful but apparently necessary at some point.

Hate to say it, but once that ship has sailed, only one of you can use tenebrium (by getting the skill from the book).
