What do you mean, invisible?

They are invisible until you them detect of course. And this requires high perception.

No need to make 2 threads about this.
Especially if neither offers any intel on what exactly is the issue anyway.

By the description itself, yes, it does simply sound what Jacob said, your team is just not suited to spot them, and it's not a bug... but we really can't say until you actually explain instead of 'this is an issue'...

Some mines their needed perception got increased, if they remain invisible it is a bug, however if your perception is just too low - then this is not a bug.

I believe the perception requirement for some mines to be spotted in Luculla is now 11.

The mines in question are on Cyseal beach. From maximum zoom-out they are initially visible; when you zoom-in they become invisible; when you zoom-out again they remain invisible.

I reported this to Larian and they acknowledged that it was a bug due to be fixed in a patch.

I thought that the fix might have been a part of this major patch but it would appear not.

My party has a max perception of 6 and are now at level 5. Given that this is an early part of the map/game I would have thought that the mines should be visible at this stage.

You are right it isnt in the patch, it is on the to-do list though and should be fixed in a future update.

I do recall seeing them from the lighthouse... but the bug is that they are visible there, rather than "invisible" (ie. properly Perception locked) on the beach itself.
6 is too few to detect them.

that they are visible zoomed out is the bug...

The mines are visible at perception 8, if I remember correctly. you can get that high by using perception+ items and/or spells. This is also not exactly a low level area because it grants access to Black Cove. The area should be about level 7.

Yeah, it's a bit weird, but everything that is hidden is visible when you are very far from it (mines, hidden chests, things you have to use your shovel on, switches...etc) and then become properly hidden when your characters approaches.

The mines on the beach are meant to be invisible, by the way, from what I've seen there is absolutely no mines which aren't hidden in the game, which makes sense since your character automatically avoid it when revealed...
