Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Steam problem with gift copy...

I purchased the Digital Collectors Edition of the game today and received the "Divinity Original Sin Early Access" Steam gift item in my Steam inventory, but when I try and send it to my son, I get an error stating "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." I've waited many minutes, tried logging out and then back into Steam, and have entered a support ticket with Steam. Any insight into what's going on here?

Sounds like an error on steam's end. The servers might be busy, in which case it'll work later. The item might be bugged, in which case Valve will have to fix that.

Tried again this morning and it worked finally.
