I think you guys may find this interesting.

Remeber the first time you teleported to the End of Time and met the Goblin? There was an intriguing song in the background with female vocals.

At first I thought the vocalist sang gibberish (which sounded beautiful btw), but then I decided to look into it and you know what I found out?

It's Russian.

Below is the transliterated original lyrics and the translation thanks to my Russian friend. Please note that you should stress the syllable after an apostrophe.

Lyrics and music: Kirill Pokrovsky
Vocals: Svetlana Granovskaya-Kolesnikova

Ty prish'la v naz'nacheny chas
V 'stary zako'locheny dom.
'Polnaya lu'na 'svetit za ak'nom,
Atra'zhayas v zrach'kah 'chyornyh glaz.

Kto ty? Kto ty?
Zhdat ne tak 'dolgo pri'shlos.
Kto ty? Kto ty?
Kto ty, ta'instveny gost'?

'Sertse tak stu'chit, v tele drozh.
Poga'siv mi'nutny is'pug,
'Melom po 'polu ty o'chertish krug,
Zakli'nanie 'tikho proch'tyosh.

V 'zerkale na 'gryaznoy ste'ne
Promelk'nyot evo siloo'et,
'Legkiy vzmakh kry'la i tebya uzh net,
Ston po'tonet v noch'noy tishi'ne.

A kog'da po'gasnet zvezd'a,
'Utro 'brosit v dom snop ognya.
Chi-to golo'sa 'budut zvat' te'bya,
No ush'la ty vo mrak navseg'da

---------------------------------------------------------------

You have come at the appointed hour
In the old boarded up house.
The full moon shines outside the window,
Reflected in the apples of your black eyes.

Chorus:

Who are you? Who are you?
I didn't have to wait.
Who are you? Who are you?
Who are you, the mysterious guest?

The heart is pounding, the body is shivering.
After wiping off a sudden fright,
You outline a circle on the floor with your chalk
And quietly read the spell.

In the mirror on a dirty wall,
His silhouette blinked.
A light stroke of the wing and you are gone.
A moan will drown in the silence of night.

(Chorus)

And when the star fades away,
Morning will throw a sneaf of fire in the house,
Voices will be calling for you,
But you're gone in the darkness forever.

I am Russian and when i've heard this song, this sounds gibberish for me too smirk
The voice is too quiet and pronounciation is a bit weird.
I have recognised the only word (Atra'zhayas - Reflected) before I read lyrics.
So i think it is intended smile

As someone used to listening to the Cocteau Twins, I'm used to indecipherable lyrics. laugh At least these ones seem to be reasonably meaningful.
