Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Armor progression disappointing

Now, I don't mean like getting better stats on gear, I mean the appearance of armor. At the end of the game, we look about the same as we did 1/3 the way through. I understand the circumstances that the game was made under, but I'm really hoping that in some future update (or Larian's next game) we get more armor.

I remember in games being happy to upgrade from cloth to leather, or leather to studded leather etc. It should be a long road to enchanted full plate.

Cloth, Padded, Leather, Studded Leather, Ring, Chain, Plate, Full plate etc.
