My characters are around level 16. Expert marksman and Man at arms talents looked like obvious choices, so these are my ranger and warrior.

Diana (Ranger): All skilled up (+2 ability points), Arrow Recovery, Bigger and better (+1 attribute points), Bully, Quickdraw, Sidestep... and I guess I'm gonna pick up Elemental Ranger too if I'll have other points. Is it good?
Madora (Warrior): Comeback kid, Opportunist, Picture of Health, Thick Skin, Weather the storm, What a Rush

I've more troubles assigning talents to my wizards, in fact for my main character (Pyro-Geo-Ice) I've chosen All skilled up, Bigger and better, even Pet Pal and I still have one talent left.
I thought the elemental talents would've been better, so I maximized Pyrokinetic, but the Water -25% resistance seems a considerable drawback. Same for the Ice king.
Perhaps on battlemage they could be useful, but on pure wizard? Am I wrong?

And this is Jahen (Ice-Aero-Witchcraft): Bigger and Better, Elemental affinity, Far out man, Know-it all, Scientist and one talent to choice.

I had a ring that was supposed to freeze enemies hitting me and it did not proc very often so I would not recommend either of these skills.

A good talent for wizard, even if the penalty seems daring at first, is glass canon.

It is also very possible to provide full elemental resistance using crafting on high level gear. If you collected enough rubies or elemental essence, I do not have the number for sure but with item level 16 it should be either 20 or 25% per enchantment.

The demon in your homestead (unlocks when you have collected 7 starstones) lets you trade an unspent talent point for 10 ability points or 2 attribute points, so All skilled up + Bigger and Better are terrible choices.
As a Ranger you only really need Glass Cannon, Bully and Quickdraw. Elemental Ranger is a risky ability, because many enemies "bleed" elemental surfaces, meaning that you will be healing them that way.

My mage only has Far out Man and Glass Cannon. Prior to the last patch I would have recommended taking the extra life and Weather the Storm resistence bonus that you can unlock through lvl 5 Man at Arms, but I am not sure if that is still worth in after the nerf.

I fear my homestead is all fucked up, since I've not unlocked anything besides the Hall of Heroes.
Anyway good to know for another game. Thanks.

Great talents for Mages.
1) Glass Cannon.
2) Far Out Man.
3) Know-It-All.
4) Lightning Rod (Worth 5 points in Aero alone)

Elemental Affinity is AMAZING for Hydro, weak for Geo/Pyro in the early game, good for Geo/Pyro in the late game, and terrible for Aero in general.
