Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues Crashes

I am experiencing frequent crashes. They seem to range in causes, but most are repeatable. Playing on latest update through steam. v1.0.81.0

(Possible Spoilers)

-It crashes when I pass the crying Orc on the beach after agreeing not to dig up the bodies. It crashed on auto-save, but saved the game. After reloading it crashes when ever I try to move forward, but does not crash if I return to town. (repeatable)

-Crash when I approach the table in the basement of the abandon house where you find the expert on the Undead you have to escort back to town. Does not crash if I head away from the table south on the map. Crashes if I try to return to the stairs after heading south. (repeatable)

-Crashes after the setting off the trap past the poisonous ground west of town with the statues that spew poison. (repeatable)

-Crashes in the house on the hill with the poison, storm, and lava at the entry west of town. Crashes when setting off any of the traps. (repeatable)

-Crashes randomly with auto-saves.

-Crashes randomly with traps elsewhere.

-Crashes randomly with explosions during battle.

Crashes are so frequent the game has become unplayable. I am not able to play for more than 20 minutes at a time without a crash.

Installed the game two times, but still crashes all the time. Can't even activate the Task Manager. Have to switch off my computer manually. Crashes when I point at the character picture... well, it crashes at any time. Game requirements are met, though. Don't know what to do.

Using:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
INTEL Core i5 CPU @ 2,80 GHz,4,0GB RAM, 2 X AMD Radeon HD 6870

Not such a good start, isn't it. So far the game's not worth the money I paid. Sorry.

Found another. Every time I pickup the garden door key in the trapped house the game crashes. (Repeatable)

Please email supportdos@larian.com, with a description of the problem and the report.zip file generated by the D:OS support tool (for the PC version). The report will contain system and game information, any crash dumps, and your saved games. If file size is an issue, any saves not related to the problem can be deleted (so at least leave some at the locations where you have repeatable crashes).
