Hi all, I was wondering how I would go about adding a mod to my existing saved game with the current patch?

The information I found seemed pretty straight forward, replacing your 'gamename'.lsb with another, but since the latest patch I can no longer locate the .lsb.
I've read that the save files are now compressed, So is it still possible to add a mod to an existing save?

These are techniques I discovered. I am just going to paste it from my Mod's readme. I can't guarantee it will always work.

It was made to teach how to continue a save with my mod, but you should be able to understand and make it work on most other mods.

****How To Continue a Saved Game**********************************************************

Make sure to SAVE before trying.

**The first solution requires that you already have a mod installed on your current saved game.**

1)Go into your Source Difficulty downloaded mod directory.
...\Source_Difficulty_v104\Data\Public\Source Difficulty\

2) Then Copy and Paste the Stats folder into this directory of your already installed mod..
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Divinity - Original Sin\Data\Public\MODNAME\

**The second solution is for when you didn't already have a mod tied to your saved game.**
The negatives of this version is that you will not be able to play in Multiplayer.

1)Go into your Source Difficulty downloaded mod directory.
...\Source_Difficulty_v104\Data\Public\Source Difficulty\

2) Then Copy and Paste the Stats folder into this location.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Divinity - Original Sin\Data\Public\Main\

3) You will get a warning letting you know something has been altered in the Main directory, and that you cannot play Multiplayer. This is warning is expected, but your save should work now.

Rather than the gamename.lsb, I believe you just need to replace the meta.lsb file from the modded new gameplay save to the old unmodded one (that you're trying to install the mod into).
