The number you have changed the functionality of the file english.xml.?
The file is useless and the game is running and only in English. Why?
I'm from Czech Republic (Central Europe).

We are a small country, for us, nobody ever does not translate anything.
Official distributors translated rejected. It only remains for us amateur translators.

Why are you changing files and destroying the chance to translate the game to those who do not know how a foreign language?
If you read these posts, you noticed that you are complaining about Italians, Spaniards, Russians and other countries ... but you might expect that the entire planet speaks excellent English?

PLEASE
Return restore the file english.xml

As the editor gets updated there should hopefully be support added (or a separate tool provided) to help with translation efforts.

I hope this will be resolved soon. I was so happy, that the .xml file was so easy to change... ^^

We are proud to report that we finished our DOS2 localization project (Hungarian). :'-)

Is this the Steam version or the GOG version?

I notice that after I reinstalled the game with the lasted version (GOG) the language.lsx were missing, I try to create a new one with the LanguageSetup.exe but it created a language.lsx with nothing and a language.tmp of more than 100MB with new lines ("\n\r") before I killed it. Fortunately I had one copy saved.

For either the Steam or GOG version, the language.lsx file should be in the '..\Divinity - Original Sin\Data\Localization' folder (and the english.xml file in the English subfolder there).

Did you try starting the game, to see if that would create the file?

I have the files, but new patches are texts that the files do not have their lines! Add new lyrics and do not add to english.xml. You just have to support it.
There is only mandatory English. Even the French version of the new texts in English.

Changes will be made in French (and other languages), as well, there is just a delay until they can be translated and incorporated into an update.
