Dear Mac users

We've heard rumours of significant DOS performance improvements on AMD cards with OS X 10.10 DP4. We right now don't even have 10.10 in our test lab but I will be really happy if anyone with working DP4 can express his feelings on whether game has become better with DP4.

I can test on 10.10 DP4 for you but I don't have an AMD GFX card and my Nvidia 9400M barely runs it on Windows, I'm guessing it doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell in OS X. I don't suppose you have an inbuilt feature for turning on an FPS count on OS X?

I need to check, but I might have a spare App Store code for Yosemite Developer Preview (I have iOS and Mac developer accounts) - no turns out they don't give you the spare key.

Hmm if you have Mac dev then you definitely have 10.10 that's 100%. But indeed 9400M era notebook is not the prime target right now..

I presume you guys have a dev account, but if you need a copy of 10.10 for your dev lab then sign up for the public beta. I believe spots are still open, and the build was released today

Yosemite Beta user here but unfortunately DOS runs much worse on it compared to Mavericks. Maybe it's because it takes up an extra Desktop instead of going full screen on the primary Desktop space. I know this is also the case on Mavericks, but maybe Yosemite tries to force the blur effect somehow.

Switched back to Mavericks, all good again! (y)
