Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity Original Sin - Mods mod trouble: cant select new game from main menu

So I'm taking on a rather massive mod project, I currently have 2 levels and I can travel between them in the mod editor with my character. However, I wanted to test all this in the actual game. Here's the problem:

I boot up DOS, activate my mod, and then click new game. However, clicking new game has greyed out single and multiplayer options. I'm at a loss of what's going on.

You need to open the Story Editor (little grey S next to the pen), and run File -> (generate definitions + build).
