Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to join the Thieves Guild and I can't lockpick the door in the cellar.I have lockpick skill level 1 and 15 lockpicks and although I follow the lockpicking instructions[highlight skill,right click,then left click on door],all I can get is" lockpick failed".Does anyone have any ideas please? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I suspect you are trying to lockpick the eastern door. The door you need is to the north.

You may also try to up your lockpick skill a bit too. Some doors are higher than level 1 which is all you can lockpick with 1 point in lockpick. I picked this lock at level 3 but didnt try it before so level 2 may work

You should only need level 1 for that door, though.

As i said I didnt try before level 3 (level 2 in lockpick +1 on a helmet) so maybe as Raze says you are trying the wrong door.
