Larian Studios Forums General About this website Server problems?

I have been accessing the Divine Divinity Forums with no problem for several weeks.

Last evening (Sunday 9-14-03) I was unable to access anything beyond the Main Index - could not Search, or get to any individual forum, or Log In (either directly from my browser's Favorites list, or following links from the Main Index). The standard "Cannot find this web page" error message would come up when I tried.
I figured Sunday evening was a busy time, and the servers were just overloaded.

Then I tried again this afternoon (Monday 9-15-03). I was able to access the Main Index, and from there Log In and to view individual forums and posts. However, whenever I tried to access a link within a posting (ie Raze saying Here's a fix for Sir Patrick not starting the Dragon Armor quest) I received the standard "Cannot find this web page" error message. This happened with 4 different links from 4 different posts.

So, is this indicative of a problem deeper than mere overloading of the servers by eager users?

This post is only meant to activate older links from old threads:

[color:"red"]http://lariancom.siteprotect.net/ubbthreads/...[/color] = this is how the old one started in your adress bar, not working anymore

So, you just have to change manually: [color:"yellow"]http://www.larian.com/ubbthreads/[/color] and remove ...com.siteprotect.net for older thread links.
I've just tried it myself. The stickie links are working now though, they have been changed.

ahh, thanks Kiya!!! about 20 people on my forum including me were stumped, I tried from the Larian website, but they had the old one too
