That is what you want, as long as the one outside is on the ground so you can teleport to it.
You left one teleporter stone behind in the easter egg area? Drop and use the teleporter stone you got back from the imp, then pick up the other teleporter stone and use it without dropping (click on it in your inventory, or use the 'use teleporter stone' icon in the right column of the secondary skill menu). This will bring you back to the first teleporter stone carrying the second.
If you accidentally teleporter back to the one in the easter egg area bringing the other teleporter stone with you, there are a couple ways to get out other than hex editing (escape over the mountains, or file swap to get out long enough to drop one teleporter stone on the ground somewhere). Both are described in the first link Kiya posted.
