Help please

Dorian is the guy who stealed the cows from farmer tom but i think i've already taken the meat from his basement.

I was alwso friendly to him and now i can,'t say anything to him but farewell.
I don't know how to solve the quest, do i need to kill him?

I really can't find any clues in his basement, it's so small and i just see nothing laying there. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />

Hm, I guess you play a patch version prior to 1.0034? Taking the meat out of his cellar was a quest breaker if you didn't have the quest at that time. But he's still there? One gamer had the problem that he disappeared suddenly.

If I understand you correctly, you're in his cellar, it's empty, no meat there and your char says nothing? If so, I fear this quest is not able to solve. Killing won't help. Dorian is supposed to give you the option to talk to farmer Tom and give him away or keep silent and get XP + reputation. Have you tried to talk to the farmer who gave you this quest? Maybe you can solve it the other way around? You'll still miss reputation, but you might get a bit XP at least.

And I don't know if patching will help in this case - because you've already got the "hooked" story line in there.

I don't think that putting meat in the cellar would help... I think that the
"original" meat is supposed to be there and it should be found only after the quest. I haven't gotten this quest ruined never so I don't know for sure...
