After Bjorn is settled in Silverglen, I am unable to identify the items he has in his inventory, despite the fact that I have the requisite level of Loremaster.

When I do attempt to pay to identify them in the bartering interface, it says 'item already identified'

Is this working as intended?

Did you purchase them before trying to identify them?
Some vendors indeed sell unidentified items... not sure if that's intended for Bjorn (being an expert blacksmith and all though)

No. I did not purchase them prior to identifying them. I am going to double check to see if I dropped or moved my magnifying glass to another one of my party members as the loremaster skill alone will not allow identification, only if you have the requisite level of skill and have a magnifying glass in your inventory.

I will confirm and report back. This maybe user error on my part.

You're not allowed to identify items in vendors without buying them as far as I know...
Makes it a bit of a gamble buying them.
On the plus side; it makes them cheaper to purchase.

Hmm..OK. I did not experience this dynamic prior to this point in the game, even with the vendors in Cyseal. This is why I was so surprised by it.
