I ask because Telekinesis is the most powerful Ability because it can be casted in combat and can do a lot of damage at 1AP cost, also it can be used in stealth mode, plus it really looks like a spell like Feather Drop.

If it were a spell it would be even stronger, since it would only require 1 skill point to learn and use.
It just needs a higher AP cost.

There are three "spells" that you getting confused with.
Telekinesis - The ability of magically grabbing items (potions, weapons, barrels) and moving them around. This is done outside of combat and is a passive ability. I find having one or two items granting you this ability is just fine.
Air spells Teleportation - The spell to make an object or NPC disappear and reappear high in the air and fall onto the ground. Has a greater distance then telekinesis and can be used during combat or outside of combat. CAUSES damage or destruction to NPCs and Items. Cannot be used on items like weapon on the ground or healing potions.
Light as a Feather - Same as teleportation, but causes no damage or destruction.
Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?

I know all of this, but Telekinesis still being equal or more powerful than Teleport or Feather and at practically no cost. I don't understand why Larian have invented such (strange) ability in first time, but a spell would be the best way to implement it.
And I'm not the only one who assumes that Telekinesis is a free spell; there are plenty of posts about the uses of Telekinesis in combat.
In other way: if Telekinesis is an ability, why Feather and Teleport are skills? And why many other skills are not abilities too? Like Cure Wounds, Charm, Doctor, etc. And similar could be the case of Walk in Shadows and Stealth mode that converts rogues in killing machines...
I love this game but I think it needs to be rebalanced in deep for the next patch, or expansion... It's only a suggestion.

Plenty of posts... but this is the only one I can find; http://www.larian.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=510411Also it talks about damage in Cyseal (75 AoE is nothing later on) AND that requires 5 telekinesis, which is pretty much wasting all your other stuff so early on. So; is this really an issue? Just asking since I see no-one else talking about it...

Stealth is pretty much the same as TK. Invest enough points and it becomes overpowered in combat.
Neither are spells, because anyone can use them. You don't have to be a Scoundrel to know how to hide, and you don't have to be a Wizard to know how to move shit with your mind. That's just the way Larian designed the world.

Here in Larian most people comes from Kickstarter but out there is easy to confuse it with a spell: http://www.reddit.com/r/DivinityOriginalSin/comments/2azk3z/teleport_vs_telekinesis/My particular issue is that I don't like too much 'mage stuff' on my characters (I still thinking in Telekinesis as a spell, sorry), but there are many items out of range (seems to me placed intentionally to make Telekinesis relevant). So, I need it. Not mentioned PetPal, haha! I'll leave this for another topic but is more or less the same (don't like it but need it).

You don't need it. But it helps.
Same as being able to pick pockets. Or craft items. Or win arguments.
You don't need to do any of them. But they help.

So without Telekinesis I'll have access to all items? If you confirm this,I'll be glad. But still seems to me a spell out of place, sorry.

No, you won't have access to all items. You won't have access to all items unless you play through the game multiple times, since there are lots of quests and npcs where you are forced to make a choice between two rewards.
But you will definitely have all the items you need to complete the game.

It's good to know that. I thought that there will be some quests that requires obtain an item by telekinesis or something like that, but acces to all quests is all that what I want. Don't misunderstand me, I love this game in each pixel and those little issues are nothing in contrast with all the fun it has given to me, only want to check if I am the only one who found 'a spell' out of site there, hehe. Take it as a little feedback from a beginner.

I understand where you're coming from, and in most other games Telekinesis would be a spell that you learn and cast.
I kinda like that Larian made it a skill, though. I like the idea of a gritty warrior who simply happens to have latent telekinetic powers.
