Ok, I haven't hit gong yet...I am trying to decide which stuff to carry with me...

I got an armor (50k gold) that has heaven's gift skill. Should I should sell it or not? If I sell it, I have to wait a long time for Geoff to update.

Is there a need for portal bed in wasteland? If I carry it, I am afraid of item destruction due to overload...

I got several items that give telekinetic skill...should I sell them?

I got several items that gives repair skill...should I sell them?
I heard that there is merchant in wasteland...

I got alot of potions...they are weighing me down...should I keep purple exlirs?
Should I keep purple potions? should I sell all the super potions?

Anyway, thank you for your answers...Its too bad there is no multiplayer in DD...

How much do you use Heaven's Gift? If a lot, keep the armour.

How often do you need to sleep? I prefer restoration potions, but the portable bed is weightless. If you save before loading up, you can always re-load if you trigger than overload bug.

There is not a great need for telekinesis in the wastelands. If you have at least one level of Repair, you can fix stuff on-the-fly, and there is a merchant there who can (I think) repair as well.

Do you need a boost to your resistances? If so, keep the elixirs. Sell the purple potions; they give a very small health bonus. I sold my super health/mana/restoration potions, since I had more than enough minor and standard ones.

If you don't plan on wearing the armor and no merchant has enough money to buy it, you will still be able to trade or sell it in the wastelands. This goes for all the other things you might want to cash in for gold.

Purple elixirs, well it's up to you. If you use them often, keep them, but otherwise sell them. All you really need are restoration potions, IMO.

It's a common mistake ,not taking your Teleporters <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />, so take 'em <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

FYI, location of the Ancient Pyramids (71KB) - if you did not bring both teleporter stones with you to the wastelands

The elixir potions are a mistery to me...what they do?

Hi Wendy

This is a map. You can move the bed to open the hatch, so you can put it in your inventory.
It's very usefull.

You can always carry two bales of hay with you and use that as a bed, don't weigh anything either <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

I found the house and went down the hatch - but I did not find a bed there! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

The bed is above the hatch.

*blinks* I guess I'm too stupid to be alive! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> That simply would never have occurred to me. I was thinking of some tiny thing that folds up. Doh!

Nah.
I guess that would be our fault.
We're so used to call it the 'portable bed'.
ppl who don't know will think of some tiny thing I guess.
