Hi Devs,
First of all, thanks for a great game. I have the GOG version. So, currently playing with my wife via LAn direct multiplayer, and we've encountered game breaking bugs that through sheer stubbornness I have managed to somewhat bypass or avoid if yo will.
1- when going to the homestead, sometimes asking NPCs or Henchmen to leave will crash the game outright. This tends to happen when we are in the Henchmen/NPC hiring area. Its almost like the game is unable to deal with the departure of the NPCs. I HAVE however successfully been able to release them when in that area at times. Any ideas what might be the cause? Oh also, WHEN it is crashing on releasing them, reloading does not fix the problem.
2- This one is much more major. I've hired three henchmen for us as our two crafters and our sneaky sneaky thief. Here is where it gets crazy. I created them, and occasionally want to release temporarily our proper NPCs which we use for adventuring, and hire the henchmen to take back to Cysil to we can do crafting (the actual forge is there, none in the NPC area). Here is where the bugs begin, sometimes when we teleport back to the North Gate, the game CRASHES. Now, i can fix it easily, all i have to do is teleport to ANOTHER gate, but if i walk to the area of the North gate the game crashes. I have seen this a bit different interesting enough. At one point, the north gate was doing fine, and the issue became heading towwards the barracks/commander area/arhu or anhu, the wizard. This was extremely frustrating but I found a fix or something like. All I have to do to prefer the crash is hire the original NPC i had back. For example, lets say I had madora and got rid of her and picked up my henchman, all I have to do is get rid of the henchman again, get madora and suddenly the crashes are gone. At first, I thought the issue was that Madora didn't have her own gear back (still in our inventory) but doubt that was the cause. If you have any ideas about this please let me know. The strange thing is, although we originally had Jahan and Madora, and got rid of Madora and got an archer henchman, somehow, and I don't know why that henchman doesn't break the game. Wish I knew what the cause is, and I can't recall if I had switched off the game and reloaded with the henchman and if tha fixed it. Reloading by the way doesn't fix the crashes, only returning the original NPC does.
Anyways, any advise about these two issues would be appreciated. Though they are not game breaking, they are taking away from the game.
