Hello!

First time poster, but I've been lurking for a few days. Love the game and is having a blast with it.

I'm sure this has already been done, but as I leveled my party I decided I wanted to try building lonewolves instead of having a party of 4. I don't know the max points for attributes or abilities and so on but I wanted some feedback on my plan and whether it seems feasible:

Lonewolf/Opportunist Twohand+Plate+SpellSupport x2
Next talent - Glass Cannon

Starting Attributes:
Strength 8
Intelligence 7

Increase Intelligence to 8, Then Strength to 10
Craft StrBelt, IntAmulet, ConRingx2

Man-at-Arms 2:
Cure Wounds
Battering Ram
Dust Devil
Crushing Fist
Divine Light

Expert Marksman 1:
Tactical Retreat

Pyrokinetic 2:
Wildfire
Flare
Burning Touch
Small Fireball
Summon Fire Elemental

Hydrosophist 2:
Minor Heal
Rain
Freezing Touch
Summon Ice Elemental
Strong regenerate

Aerotheurge 2:
Teleportation
Become Air
Shocking Touch
Invisibility
Lightning Strike

Geomancer 2:
Bless
Petrifying Touch
Fortify
Midnight Oil
Summon Pet (spider)

Witchcraft 2:
Oath of Desecration
Blind
Absorb the Elements
Enfeebling Touch
Malediction

Leadership 1 (buff with righteousness to 2)
1 char: Bartering 2 (+1 boots, +1 amulet, + 1 trait)
1 char: Blacksmith (early, easy access to good 2handers)/Crafting (later, Pragmatist + item gives enough for accessories)

Should I cut back on some mage school early on to make sure I got the Points to increase Bodybuilding/Willpower/Twohanded/higher Man-at-arms?

Any thoughts at all about this?

This turned out to be a really fun build and I've made my way to level 13 now.
I've tried to stay away from the most glaring fun killers such as resistance stacking, visiting the teller of secrets every level, dual summon every fight and so on and has instead focused on the Man-at-arms, self-buff and touch spells.
I did however buy 2 of each books from the teller to give both characters the same increase.

The basic tactic for now is to buff up with Wildfire, Oath of Desecration and Rage, after that I use a touch spell to petrify, stun or freeze before following up with melee attacks.
If the target shows a large Willpower stat I will lower it and then try to disable.
If all else fails I got Bless and Melee Precision Stance to make sure I hit the targets.
Sometimes I get wild and simply start with 2xLightning Strike and hope I stun enough of them to not get too bad repercussions from rushing in.

Boss fights has generally been easier than the large group fights.
As I try to stay true to using melee range disables I find myself getting disabled a lot more and having less control over the battlefield with multiple opponents than I have against the big bads who I can usually disable after debuffing their willpower or simply burn down quick with flurries.
This is partly my own fault, I only got 2 Bodybuilding and 2 Willpower at the base due to focusing on getting my spellcasting schools up to level 2 and maxing Man-At-Arms.

The worst battle up to date was a large group of spiders in a certain area with a constant slow going on. I lacked the AP to control the field and I was using 2h Axes with BS5 crit chance bonus that I had just enough strength for. The weak debuff made my chars drop both weapons and plate armor and the spiders had a snack.
I came back with 2h Swords with BS5 +2 Str bonus instead and after starting the fight with an out of combat summoned Fire Elemental (who ate some poison and a weak debuff for me) I made it through with ~50% Health left.

I never really have to worry about enemy attacks of opportunity, if I need to move when close to a foe I simply use Tactical Retreat, Battering Ram, Lightning Strike or Phoenix Dive.

With wildfire my characters can usually disable 4-6 enemies in one turn with the different touch spells.

I changed out Malediction for the Lower Willpower spell as most foes seems to be packing quite a lot of willpower.

I replaced Flare with the Purifying Fire spell as a way to remove magical disables.

I added the First Aid and Doctor skills to my Marksman toolset.

I've maxed out Man-At-Arms and am currently learning every skill I can in that tree.

Now I'm undecided whether to focus on the defense (BB/WP) or to increase my witchcrafting skill and add Death punch to my repertoire. I would also like to have Vampiric Touch, almost completing my set of touch spells (still lacking the Charming Touch as I would have high AP and low percentage of success with that one)

Edit: While I started this topic to get some feedback on my planned build I have now started playing and is simply sharing my experience. Perhaps this is more of a General topic than Help/Tips/Tricks now.
