Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems Portal Stone to Sir Patrick's treasure room

I went to the treasure room several times before I had a high enough level of
lock pick and now that I have lock pick level 5 the portal stone in the garden no
longer works. Is there a limit as to how many times you can use the portal stone
before it becomes deactivated or is this a glitch from the game? I downloaded
the patch long before this so I am wondering what could be wrong. Any ideas?

Some time after you steal the deed, the portal stones get deactivated. There is only gold in the chests (about 6-10k IIRC), though you can cheat to get back in; Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor.
