I know most people know of the resurrecting trick to gain more XP ... so I got the idea from the book " Pig farming " in the game ... why not monster farming ... lead all the monsters u can into a general area and kill them ... resurrect them and go look for another few , lead them back to the others after awhile u will have a whole bunch of em just waiting to be harvested ...then u can kill them , resurrect the whole bunch,leave and come back later to do the same

I have about 30 - 40 fire beetles in a make shift farm ( using boxes - they can run through them if they see you but it helps for them to stay in one place when not around ) behind the entrance to the dwarven village .20+ trolls infront of the dwarven entrance , alot of burning skelletons (dont know if thats what they are called - red ones near warriors guild)I use burning wall and then hitting them with hell spikes ( which I upgraded to lev 5 by buyng books from merchants)for most of my harvests takes a few mins to set up but xp boosts are worth it I think.Well u get the general idea .

Seems to work so far nearing lev 50 and havnt entered stromfist yet ... and its not like I "farm" 24/7 , just a now and then takes 3 min for a 200 000 xp boost. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" />

hehe itll make the headlines. crazy MONSTER farmer kills all crop then magics em back.

i don't understand how it's possible to do this "monster farm". How do you do it?

You can resurrect slain monsters. They'll be friendly then but if you go too far away, they become enemies again. Thus you can slay them over and over and gain more experience.

Just wondering but isn't that totally boring? I mean I was level 50 at the end of the game and other than Josephina () I had no troubles in the endgame. Once you reach a certain level, isn't the whole game simply boring?!

But yep... I would get bored with hack and slash. Specially if you're to powerfull.

Okay, sorry if I was too imprecise. I didn't mean the whole game but the fights. That's why I don't think it's all that interesting to go past level 50 in this game.

It's different in D2 where everyone dreams of his or her level 99 char. And where even my level 88 char still is in danger of dying when facing some monsters in Hell mode.

also great xp u can get into dwaren halls if u steel something more times & dwares calls for guard. just kill them & u will receive more than 40000xp (depends from lvl) but there is one bad thing <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />. every time then dwares call 4 guards u lose 2 rep. but it worth it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" /> try out

Yep playing at lev 50 and above would be boring if u havnt fin the game before hand . Im one of those crazy people that play some games over just to do certain stuff like XP boosting my lev so I can max my spells ,and since I have no clue as to how to operate the hex editor (even with directions) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> I'll do it the old fashioned way by killing monsters and uhhh stuff hehe ... but hey thats just me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" />

You do not need to use a hex editor to boost your experience / stats / skill points; iZakaroN's SaveEditor. Of course, that would be cheating, where as monster farming is not.
