I finished yesterday. I already said it a couple of times, but here I go again: it was Great, Amazing,... Fantastic. Since the creators of the game seem to appreciate feedback from the gamers (which is admirable) I'll do my bit now.

[color:"red"]- A love Story.

It doesn't have to be Romeo and Juliet, but it would be kind of nice if your character would be able to fall in love (as in ) AND have a home to go to or something. This could all of course start as a quest. (Damzel in Distress scenario for instance, daughter of a mayor, ...)

[color:"red"]- Good weapons earlier in the game.

I didn't like it that I could use the Sword of Gods in the Waste Lands only. I know of course that it's not good if you can find the best sword very early because it might end in an anti-climax, but still it would have been nice to slay some Orcs or Grail Protectors with.

[color:"red"]- Don't use random stats.

I read about random stats on this forum, otherwise I wouldn't have known about it and my Dragon Armour wouldn't have been so good because when I first got it the stats were not 'warriorlike'. I think it would be best to have a few very special armours, for mage, rogue, fighter,... seperately.

[color:"red"]- No need for big dungeons.

What I love so much in is the feeling of walking around in beautiful nature. Dungeons are a part of RPG's, I know, but I don't really care for them. Especially big ones with 3 or 4 layers. Ruins on the surface would work too, no?

[color:"red"]- A Battlefield.

In the story is about the Orc invasion, especially in the beginning. Now, after you have blown up the Orc caravan and poisoned the watersupply, it would be great if the knighs say: 'ok, let's get em now' and you would participate in a great battle, like 100 soldiers against 100 orcs.

[color:"red"]- More personal involvement in the plot.

The storyline in is great, no complaints there, but I think it would be cool to be able to say: this Black Ring is kinda cool, lets join them! The story could develop in diffrent ways that way, which would also increase the life-span of the game, because re-playing it could then mean a completely diffrent experience.

That's about it, I know some of these suggestions are persnonal. There will probably be people who DO enjoy big dungeons, but I just want to share some ideas. This is in no way my way of criticising the game, I merely want to help making the future one(s) even better. I hope this might prove to be usefull.

This would probably be hard to impliment becaus ethe black rig wants to kill u so it would be hard to jipon them without doing sdumpfing really bad eg kill Zandalor.

I know it's hard to do this in , but in another storyline (like perhaps in 2 it could be possible.

hey macbeth,

talking of love story, DD has a lot though mostly not involving the player. we have the adulterous couple in ars magicana, young couple in blue boar, paedophilic couple (janus & whatshername) in stormfist.

& as for big dungeons, i agree. no more iona's multi-level dungeon, please. gets boring after 2 levels.

of course we need mini-games, more puzzle-oriented quests (not the where-do-this-key-fit type), more speech options that are meaningful, more RPG less hack-&-slash, ...... .
