Hello guys. In the middle of a fight, I have teleported an Oil Barrel towards my enemies with my hero, then used Flare to burn it all with my companion. Looking at the combat log, something weird happened. I've created a Smoke Cloud , but it was immediatly removed. Combat log:

Nerea created Fire when using Fire on Oil.
Nerea created a Smoke Cloud.
Nerea removed a Smoke Cloud by using Fire.

I just can't understand why it was removed by fire!

Edited: Lol, just noticed the Smoke Cloud still there making my enemies invisible _._

It also makes you invisible to them, and in fact gives you the upper hand. You can still use attacks that don't require a target in the are, but the enemy can't.

Also, the enemy will waste APs to run through the smokescreen to get at you (very useful vs. enemy archers/mages).
