Hi all,
Two-time hard playthrougher here. Just wanted to start a topic to see what the community has in mind for making the current version of the game a tad (or a lot) more challenging, especially given all of the criticism on the boards regarding the difficulty. I was thinking that people could list what fun builds they're doing then show screenshots, post videos, etc.
Here are challenges that I had in mind, organized by difficulty:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Easy/Cheesy/You should be doing this anyway-No teller of secrets abuse
-Hard difficulty only
-No ending turn on sneak/invisibility
Medium-No glass cannon + lone wolf combo
-No blacksmithing/crafting
-1 mage max
-No saving in battle
-No respect demon usage
-No stealing/pickpocketing
Kinda hard-Dual lone wolves
-No glass cannon
-No spells (scrolls okay)
-All four characters have the same (and only that) spell/warrior skill
-Save in town only
-
Source difficulty mod Pretty hard-No companions but no lone wolf either
-No spells or scrolls (resurrection after battle only)
-No healing potions (or healing spells); eat food! Bonus points for 5 star diner
-No reloading
-Kill any NPC on sight as soon as you are at least half their level (unless you need to turn in a quest, but then immediately afterwards)
What??-One character no spells
Would be glad to hear other things that people have in mind/are currently running.
