Does anyone know of a place to find a really good dagger? Something similar to the Lich Cave south of The Marketplace that has a random enchanted [nocando] sword, except I'm looking for a dagger.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Welcome to the forums! Entry price: one soul. (We're not fussed who's.)

In the back of the magic shop in the Merchent Quarters there's a good dagger. Now you just have to find a way to steal it! Also, there is the Nobleman's Dagger which you get by completing the "Holy Weapon" quest.

The dagger in the magic shop can be stolen by paying the poet to speak. The Mage will come out and you can go in. Takes at least lvl2 lockpick. Save before opening so you can cherrypick (save/restore). The one my survivor got was amazing good. For example lvl5 Deathblow.

To be specific, the name of the mage you are looking for is Kistandalius, on the northwest side of Ars Magicana. Don't try to walk into his back rooms when he's in the shop, because he'll just teleport you out.

Actually, even if he is nowhere near his shop, he will still teleport you out. With most other shop owners, the mage's 'swap places' special move can be used to get them out of sight in order to loot.

Yep, I have to agree - I chased Kis out with my spider ability, he was in Walker's shop - and I was still teleported out. I believe, there is a tel-trap when you enter that room.

Very true. Rather, I meant don't bother trying to get back there unless he's outside listening to the poet.
