Just wandering, first of all, if it's possible to leave one of your teleporter pyramids behind and then just teleport back to town at will. I'm too lazy to actually try it myself.
If not however, is it possible to use the pyramids to teleport out of the world the imp sends you into, and hence keep the crystal ball?
And then, you could take all of the golden jugs (from the imp's world) with you when you go to the wasteland (instead of using them), then use them when you're in the wasteland and the one that teleports you will teleport you back to the imp's demented world. (This bit actually happens, I was annoyed and loaded again.)
However, if you still had the crystal ball (I'm not sure if this is possible, but stay with me here) you could then escape that world (I could only escape that world back to the wasteland, using pyramids) and then you could have one pyramid on each side (one in the wasteland, one in, say, Rivertown Market) and use the shops as often as you pleased and stuff. And maybe even go back to the council of seven and see if Janus and Zandalor are still hanging around there.
So, anyone know if any of this is possible? I'm not gonna try right at the moment 'cause I still haven't finished the game, and I'd like to do that before I stuff around heaps.

If you leave a teleporter behind, an ancient pyramid will be placed a bit north east of your starting location, which is where you would end up using the ancient pyramid in your inventory. location of the Ancient Pyramids (71KB) - if you did not bring both teleporter stones with you to the wastelands The teleporter stones do not work within the imp world (at least not the first time you are there). It is possible to duplicate items, however. Quick save, then drag an item out of your inventory (somewhere there is no red x), but do not drop it. Quick load, and release the mouse button when the game starts loading; this will result in a duplicate on the ground, and the original in your inventory. Someone already tested this successfully on the level-up jug and key, so it may work for the teleport jug as well. However, the orb may just teleport you back to the Dwarven Bread inn, rather than the wastelands. You can teleport back to Kroxy in the wastelands. He sells charms, spell books, potions and equipment, so I don't see a great need for other merchants. Another way to get back from the wastelands; Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor

Kroxy? I could've sworn I just saw an orc by that name get killed. Wasn't he one of the seven? So anyway, no getting out of imp world with crystal ball still intact? (aside from duplicating it) Oh well.

Head east and then south to get to what is left of a town in the wastelands. Kroxy wasn't quite dead, as he'll explain when you meet him.

hmm.
Not to be totally off topic but..
I cant use the teleporter pyramids in wastelands... i get no message saying they arent working and nothing happens when i try to use them, also no message if i put both in my pack and try to use one, used to get message "hmm they dont work.."
When i died and was reborn the teleporter stones were kept in the book from thieves guild...could this be why they dont work? Also noticed if you put money in the book and try to buy something the money dont show up.. you have to move it to main inventory..I have the teleport spell though... so its only a few hops.. and then theres the galaxy leaping flash attack spell....

Everything within a book, barrel, chest etc. doesn't show up or work (inventory). Have you put the pyramids in your inventory now? And one on the ground? Still doesn't work?
Kiya
checked it out: If you have them in the Book of Holding, they really don't work in the Wastelands anymore - but I found 2 Ancient pyramids and they work. If this is a bug - I'd call it a homemade one because this book was never intended to be a "chest" by game plot.

LOL! Home made? Book is an exploit/bug and so its a game flaw, its not something i wasnt supposed to do.. Where are these ancient pryamids?
If i put em on the ground after placing them in inventory still dont work, tries putting them into inventory then saving/loading..but that dont work either..
I think whats happened is that because the pyramids were in book during death to divinity sequence they've been broken..thus game bug which shouldve been spotted in testing. neh neh.
Btw Drox is a LIAR! He sold me a book of might which was called heavens blessing, when i learned it said i'd learned heavens blessing but in spells it was actually a spell of might.. like 5 extra strength is usefull at lvl 44!

IMNHO it's still a homemade bug, Rugster (the book). As I wrote, I checked it out and the pyramids are dead - because they don't "exist" for the game. But I believe a discussion about this is futile => difference in opinion.
Testing is a difficult thing: Even all fantasy and imagination of what gamers can think of is not covered 100%. I for myself never had the idea of putting my pyramids into thís book. I kept it for quest items I might need later on - my pyramids were always in the normal inventory.
Anyway: you can still carry on in the Wastelands: The ancient pyramids, did you find them?
As for wrong spell books = correct that's a bug. Happened to me in Ars several times. Kiya

hehe, no offence meant..
I used to work for software company for about 2 years, i was eventually leader of total bugs found, in fact by the time i left i was finding more bugs then the rest of the entire testing team. 14 of us in total. I wont say i'm a god at bug finding as i agree with you not everyone has the ability to detect every bug... i have an opinion of those i worked with.. but it'd be poor reading with [nocandos] all through it and we have our opinions of what is or isnt a bug etc.. but to me anything that doesnt work in a game when it should is bugged. And to reach such a state is the sotware creators fault. I totally dont believe the view of many coders that "the game can never be perfect" as this is just an excuse for poor workmanship Everything should be perfect, imo is very close to perfect.
On very rare occasions it is the hardware or external software failures that can cause bugs, but this is often the scapegoat of most technical support..update your drivers...hehe
As for the Ancients Teleporters, yep got em now.

http://www.kiya1.via.t-online.de/images/Div_Wastelands.jpg.htmlOkok, I read you found them now - Bughunter. But thanks to you I can exercise my screen-chasing again Kiya And no, I disagree about perfection: still has flaws, specially the weight bug/sight bug and the broken skill "True Shot" - there are a few others left, but the last patch really solved a lot of gameplot-killing/disturbing probs, not all but 90-95% (?) - I'm not good at guessing.

Excellent website. ;0)
Just crashed after killing my way almost to finish.. now to restart from entry again..
Btw, using the Flash Jump you can jump over the Spikes, without having to kill any of the 5.
Hmm.. Stopped by a single door... Cant get into the last room with door being closed..looks like i'll have to kill them after all! Dammit. Still Flash Attack rules this game. Good thing its only available at lvl 30!

Btw, using the Flash Jump you can jump over the Spikes, without having to kill any of the 5. Cheating won't help, you have to kill all otherwise the demon will remain neutral You've got the link, right? Just read the text or look at the screenshots by going into the thumb overview and choosing. Kiya Which locked room? Look at the end dungeon (demon of lies) in the site -> you have to activate both levers, then the way to the demon is free - but as long as you haven't killed all 5 baddies (amuse yourself with Josie ) => demon won't fight

Attempted to teleport back from the Wastelands and ended up near some ruins a short distance from the entry area. Found that I was unable to move from that spot - had to reload an older saved game to retrieve my second teleporter stone.
"You can teleport back to Kroxy in the wastelands. He sells charms, spell books, potions and equipment, so I don't see a great need for other merchants."
There's only one small problem with relying on Kroxy as your sole merchant. He doesn't seem to have much cash on hand and doesn't seem to keep the cash that you give him. If, as I have done, you show up in the Wasteland with low cash reserves and intend on having equipment repaired, you will soon be in trouble if you get into any combat. I am unable to pay for repairs, unable to sell Kroxy the goodies I've found, and haven't even run into the nastier creatures yet. Sorry, but I do see a need for other merchants.

If you do not bring both teleporter stones with you to the wastelands, ancient pyramids will be placed in those ruins as replacements. You could have picked up the second ancient pyramid, tossed it a few feet away and teleported out of the small ruins. location of the Ancient Pyramids (71KB) - if you did not bring both teleporter stones with you to the wastelands You can trade items for repairs. Even if he doesn't have enough gold to make up the difference in value, you could buy a stack of potions, then trade those for future repairs. You will loose a bit of value with this, but you should have enough loot it wouldn't matter.

Entering the Wastelands with a single teleporter stone must screw something up. When I attempted to use my stone to return to the "other" world and was transported to the nearby ruins, I didn't find any Pyramid nearby or even within visual range. At that point, I had no teleport stones at all in my inventory so I couldn't toss one and teleport to it.
I must have missed something. Have never traded an item in lieu of payment for repair so I'll profess ignorance. At this point, I'm just hoping I have a pre-Wastelands saved game so I can start over with a bit more cash.

The ancient pyramids are hard to see; you may need to hit the alt key to be able to grab the one that should be there. When the single teleporter stone was replaced in your inventory with an ancient pyramid, it may have been moved under something else. A single skill point in Repair would be very handy. If you just need enough to repair your current equipment so you can continue and get loot for future repairs, potions, etc. there is a way to get more gold. Drag a stack out of (or into) your inventory (or container) and hold down the control key before dropping. This will bring up the split stack pane; type in a negative number and hit enter (the checkmark will be greyed out). This can also be done in the trade window. It is possible to get back to Rivellon to pick up items, but this probably will not help for completing quests; Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor

ALT search revealed nothing and my inventory was practically empty - no stones or pyramids. I've written the whole thing off and managed to find a single saved game just prior to entering the Wastelands.
