Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues D:OS workshop items wont update

So if theres a steam workshop item for D:OS, steam wont let the creators of that workshop item update it. If you've downloaded version 1 of a mod, thats all you'll ever have, because the creator CANT upload updates.

Has anyone heard of a resolution? Can Larian either flip a magic switch in the steam settings (or tell STEAM to allow this?

Is this happening to other people as well?

Update: talked to others and they can't update their steam workshop items either. Seems it's create a new one or nothing. Help would be appreciated.
