Hi all, Im new to this game, and I can make honey but I cant actually pick up the honey off the ground or grab any of the mushrooms and things that lye around in the wilderness

What am I doing wrong?

You can´t pick up the mushrooms. They are for the alchimy skill. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
If you have at least two points in alchimy you can drag a small bottle (later = more skill points also big one) over the mushrooms to get a potion. try it out.

Concerning honey <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
you should be able to pick it up, or do you mean the bee places (I really don´t know the english word for this... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />)

Well Im at the bee places now, and I dragged a honeycomb onto the bee hive and it made a little thing of honey

But i cant seem to pick it up

Do i need to drag into an open inventory window?

Standing to left of the house, in amoungest the "Bee Hives" theres a bath, below the bath is a table and on the table are two "empty" honey jars...

Drag jars onto honey.. to get honey pots. Btw those are about the ONLY empty honey jars in the whole game...

The honey jars used to be automatically picked up on earlier versions now you have to drag them into inventory...which is a pain. And same goes for making potions drag the pots onto the mushrooms, flowers, cacti etc... Common sence would suggest having empty pots in your pack and just clicking on the mushroom to fill it, possibly with a popup affirm incase of accidental clicking..(something which could be switched off in options) but this would require thought to instigate so its easier to just force the player to do everything the hard way...

They should have included a little pair of cutters and a spade for digging up the mushrooms and a wash bowl for cleaning them, maybe a mortor and pestle for crushing up the mushrooms and...hehe could go on forever with details...

I hate to ask a dumb question, but what exactly is the purpose of Honey anyway?

Honey jars temporarily raise Str/Agil/Int by 5, then restores 50 MP and HP.

How do you use it?


It gives some tempory stats.. takes ages to work out what all the foods do.. without using spoilers...
