What I like is this, the player can detect traps and avoid them. I would have enemies have that same skill. But alos the skill to disable them. I like my PC to be able to hide traps as well. And the better that skill, the easier an enemy falls into one.
And of course, some traps work only for this type of creature. A pit trap would not mean much for a snake.

@the bean: ROFL, if you have problems with windows use mandrake much more stable than windows or use debian (runs 3 years without probs).

I would like the skill to salvage traps. It's nice to know theire is a trap theire and nice to disarm it. But that doesn't help you defeat enemies. So You should be able to salvage traps(and pit them in your inventory) and place them somewhere else.

I think I'm confused. There is an Evade Traps skill in Divine Diviity that lets you detect and disable traps. What do you mean exactly?

Just a guess : Does this mean a skill like "override 'evade traps' " ?

Or just an enhanced trap skill, with more varieties and maybe a chance to recover and reuse successfully disarmed enemy traps.

Yes, could be, too.
