I would appreciate if people could post here some of their tips that would save other players hours of frustration. Some tips of mine:

1. You can reset your talents/skills at homestead but only for your 2 main heros. You cant reset the rest. Also you need to relearn all the skills after reset.

2. Send all the quest items/keys to your main hero who you use to interact otherwise you will never open that door/complete that quest

3. You can hire henchmen for crafting blacksmithing and bartering but only your 2 main heros can have crafting and bartering maxed. Thats because only those two have traits and get that +1 bonus

4. You need to use all your Bloodstones and turn them to Inertstones to open the portals

5. Make sure you talk to the Immaculate camps you find in Hibberheim to get the info you need and xp, then kill them for extra xp because they disapear after a while. Same with the Dwarven mines.

6. Your henchmen reach your level only after you dismiss them and put them in your party again... (!)

7. Most important setting in options is to set Quicksave up to 25 times. Saves your nerves!

8. Your hero Jahan will be offered a reset + 190k xp at a point in phantom horest. You should know this before spending money for spells...

9. Your vault in Homestead only shows limited items. But all the items you send with the "send to homestead" command are still there. You need to get them back to your heros so you can see them

Thats the ones that comes to my mind right now but ill add more later

You can also reset your attribute points there. More important: That npc allows you to trade unused talents for 10 ability / 2 attribute points.
I don't understand why you should not be able to have crafting maxed on a henchman.

It is worth noting that 2 Bloodstones will be used for quests.

I thought this was fixed with the last patch.

Ignore his advices number 3 and 6. All the others are good ones.

Crafting and Blacksmith recipes have a max level of 5, so any point beyond 5 is useless, however if you have bonuses from equipment, you can get away with a lower level of crafting/blacksmith.

Henchmen have been modified this patch and are no longer being automatically upgraded to your level when you dismiss and rehire.
