Hello,

Im pretty confused...Atm Im in the Source Temple and the door wont let me in. Thus Ive checked a list of all stones and I actually should have all of them...

Another strange thing is that I still only have acces to the 3rd elemental chamber despite having collected WAY more stones but they didnt open any other chambers.

How can I fix that?!

Please help:<

You need to use the stones, then you need to go from and forth from the "End of Time" until all story elements are triggered.

You need to:
A) have enough stones (like... 12, I had 14)
B) have used them all
C) each *used* stone triggers a story-progression in the Homestead, each time you visit there you get a new one.
D) the door will open if you did all A-C.

Ive rechecked all locations which gave a stone and Im pretty sure Ive got all of them...This really starts to annoy me:( Could it be a bug?

Do you have any blood stones lying around in your inventory? If so use them. They won't count until you actively use them and turn them into star stones that way.

How many portals do you have active in End of Time, including the four elementals?

If everything else fails you can just bash in the door, will take quite a while but at least you can progress.

Ive got 4 portals open + 3 elemental chambers. I remember it stopt opening new ones after the 3rd elemental.

In the last 2 hours Ive collected every blood stone I could find via a guide...So im pretty sure I should have more than enough (used em all aswell).

Im just confused...This game starts to annoy me so much, lol.

Bashing in the door will take +10 minutes. Not even sure if it s worth it (thanks for the advice tho)

That's very weird. Do you, by any chance, have fireballs raining in your homestead?

You should have a total of... um... either 11 or 12 portals open. Two in the back, four elementals, four on the right, two more on the left if I'm not mistaken.

Like I said, bashing in the door is a last resort, as it's pretty much only susceptible to Tenebrium and has like 55k HP. But at the very least you can progress if everything else fails. Might be a weird bug.

just make sure that now there are only insert stones (grey), not blood stones (red), in your inventory.

I can tell you what is wrong with your Homestead. Once you enter the Dark Forest, the homestead becomes attacked by some void demon. Until you stop this from happening, you won't get any more portals opened. Right now I only have up to the 1st elemental opened due to this glitch. I'm told it isn't a game breaking glitch, but just very inconvenient. At least you made it further into the homestead then I did before your game got glitched with this.

Btw, I haven't figured out where this void demon is and how to kill it. Someone else will have to help you there.

you need to pay attention to Zixzax when he gave you the closing the rift quest, he basically tells exactly how you would get homestead back!

first of all, sorry that I use this point to ask, but I have exactly the same problem with the stones.(Just one portal activated though possessing 8 stones...)

I already tried to sneak behind the demons with one character. Even reached the big bloodstone but could not destroy it with a Tenebrium-weapon equipped, while all the demons hanging around kicking my character's ... ;o)
(All characters are level 17)

May be you could give me some hints to destroy that bloody thing?
Would be very grateful!!!

P.S. Of course every usefull hint from other members concerning this "stone-prob" will be highly appreciated !

few things,

do you have pure Tenebrium weapon? if there's other elemental damage on the weapon, it won't work. as per Zixzax's clue.

do you actually get to the bloodstone? or you try to destroy the portal which is guarded by those demons? I asked because those demons shouldn't be able to see you when you destroy the bloodstone, let alone kick your rear~

thanks a lot for your quick answer!

Yes, I used a two-handed Tenebrium-Axe, with no other "Extras" just 28 to 71 Tenebrium, 93 - 236 Hitpoints, 1 point of Tenebrium is needed for to use it (The character Madora, in my case, has 3 of that.)
I was at the bloodstone (right behind the portal) and when the char stroke on the bloodstone, it took some damage and then recovered pretty fast to full health.
When I used invisibility potions the demons said something like: come back into light out of the dark and saw me.

it's all very bizarre...maybe try using the main characters to do the job? they do have additional comments when they see the bloodstone...

and those demons just shouldn't be able to see you at all if you stay so far behind them with the bloodstone.

Yes, I will try with one of my main chars a.s.a.p. and tell you what happens.

For me it's also quite strange, cause I am not used to visit forums for help. |) May be I had tough luck and did the things in a "wrong" order, even though the game is supposed to be open and the world of DOS can be "freeley" explored without any restrictions normally. I got 44% of the achievments until now and I hope I can complete my game. Thank you again!

I have a similar problem, although I HAVE destroyed the huge Bloodstone surrounded by Void Demons, and stopped the fireball attack, I STILL cannot open any additional portals in the Homestead.

I have 14 Inert Stones now, I killed Cassandra, I have 3(of 4) Elemental Portals Open, but the "Forbidden Portal and One other are still closed, and Zixzax, Icara etc. just tell me to go get more stones.

The last 4 Bloodstones I used didn't open any other portals in the Homestead, and I used them AFTER I stopped the fireball attack.

My guys are all Level 21, end game gear, everything is defeated that can be defeated, yet I am now out of Stones, and the Source Temple Door will not open.

Bugged? Doors basically stopped opening in the Homestead after I got the third elemental portal open.

Hi,

I destroyed the big blood stone while being in a fight with some dogs to its left. Using a white Tenebrium-Sword on one of my main chars. It took some hits and with its end all the enemies vanished. Zixzax showed up, thanked me and I went back to Homestead. Story / Portals kept opening from now on.

Thats how I did it.

There are more than 4 bloodstones out there I believe. Sadly I only found a german guide to find them all. Maybe by collecting and using more you ll be able to open it.

Hello, back again with some news:

teardropmina was right: I succeeded by doing the job with the main character, choosing the way (left side) through the immaculates camp. At the end at the mirror-portal I've been using an invisiblity potion to get behind the herd of hellrams (or whatever they were? ). when I reached the bloodstone I received the complete comments and could destroy the bloody bloodstone with a few hits.

Then back in the homestead I could open (finally, YEEHAAAH!) the inner chamber, the hall of secrets and two elemental halls.

all so much for being patient and providing helpful posts.

@SoupHunter: Good luck for your progress meanwhile. I hope I won't run into the same problem like you did. If I find out something useful, I'm going to post it here, promise!

makes sense though, the two main are the chosen ones, and it is their homestead, not everyone else's~

Update: Redid the game from much older saves, before I opened the third elemental portal, and I had six unused Bloodstones (15 total stones). I chose Ice portal instead of Fire, did not kill Cassandra, and made sure I talked to the main Homestead NPCs (Zixzax, Icara, Weaver of Time), then ported out, ported back to End of Time, then used another Bloodstone in the normal world, THEN ported back to End of Time.

This procedure, or something in the above, seems to have worked. I now have all portals open, except the Forbidden Portal, and I am off to go kill Cassandra, after I redo some crafting.
