As August 13th is International Left-Handers' Day, a nice present would be a numpad and mouse button fix. Can you make it happen?

I have actually heard of southpaw mice for sale...and keyboards-- you can buy one with a detachable numpad which can be plugged in the opposite side of the keyboard if you like...;) Good luck!

If you are serious about southpaw gaming, doing it in hardware is really the only the way to do it, imo. Then, no worries about individual games or other software packages.

Waltc, the guy wasn't serious, barely any left-hander uses the mouse with his left hand :P

My brother is right handed, but will use a mouse left handed if he has to do something at a left-handed co-worker's computer, as that is less hassle than moving the mouse and switching the options in Windows.


There is an update planned possibly for this week, maybe next, though I don't know if this particulat issue will be addressed then.

I am serious. I already have a Razer Death Adder designed for lefties. Having a detachable numpad is meaningless in this case as the game does not properly recognize numpad keystrokes as distinct from the number keys running in a horizontal line above the main keyboard.

I've never ever seen anyone using a mouse with their left hand :O so I thought he wasn't serious. Even at my Multimedia Design study, where a stunning 65% is left-handed, no one does either.

I just played a bit of CS like that, being left-handed myself, and it doesn't feel unnatural or difficult while I never used the mouse with my left hand before in my life. Isn't it just easier to adapt to the majority in this case, instead of having to fiddle with options, updates etc. especially when it comes to such a easy-to-use device (it's not like a pen or something, more comparable with a gear-shift of a car)?

...or am I betraying my fellow lefties here?

Glad you're fortunate enough to have full use of both arms. Some of us aren't so fortunate.

Is this still broken? And if so, Larian, are you planning on fixing this? I really would like to buy this game, but I won't do so if keybindings to the numpad and potentially right control (as mentioned in other threads) are broken.

If by broken you mean not implemented yet, then yes. It is currently being worked on, so will be added in a future update (AFAIK it is not in the one expected tomorrow).

Yet again, it's still not fixed.
