Great.

I get ALL THE WAY to the end of the game, open the final door in the garden, Leandra pops in...

and the game crashes when it gets to the point in the dialogue where you tell her you can reforge the soul link with her sister.

the dialogue then just goes to "1. end."

and the game crashes.

I can't be the only one to experience this? I'm guessing this got introduced in the last "patch"?

FWIW, it looks like there is a line of dialogue missing after Leandra dares you to go ahead and reforge the soul link.

... for anyone reading this that hasn't gotten this far yet.

DON'T choose to tell Leandra you can reforge the Soul link. choose option "2" there instead. It's the only way to not have the dialogue crap out on you.

the whole soul link thing was a complete and utter waste of time and effort, evidently.

There is a workaround for that problem: before the conversation, go into your Game options and click on 'Enable dual dialogues' and click on Accept, then re-open the Game options and click on it again, putting it back the way you had to start with, and hit Accept again. That should prevent the crash (until a proper fix is implemented).
