Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Josephine and Iona : how did you beat them ?

I was surprised by how tough these two characters were to get past. I did beat them but I think I might have done it the hard way. ( I had to grind down their energy by hitting and running, and then recovering. )

With Josephine as soon as you attacked you got hit by hell spikes and two attacks would pretty much finish you off.

And with Iona she had an ability to regenerate her life force if her vitality was drained too much in one attack.

Did anyone else have trouble with these characters or find a better way to beat them ?

Deadly gift level 5, ca 5 scorpions and they vanished before I could release the first spell.

Mage, level 50

deadly gift level5... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />, that´s too easy, try to kill them withoit scorpions.

wweeellllll, all honesty i just hacked at em with the sword of gods, frost and stun did the rest. i was at around level 47 at the time perhaps you should levelificationize a bit before attempting them?

I used level 5 deadly disks (this seemed most effective on josephine) but honestly I had no trouble against iona(played a mage) one thing I didn't like about the boss's is that josephina was harder then the demon of lies.
