Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - Technical Issues 95% hit, still miss 90% of time

Hello everyone

I post in the bug section because i think it's not normal at all. Everything is in the title : when i want to hit someone with my warrior is see 95% (chance to hit) but i still miss 90% of the time. Actually my best is 6 miss in a row, all with 95% chance of hitting.

It's a standard warrior, he is level 15 with a 2H tenebrium sword, with 1 point in tenebrium skill.
I'm the spiders in the "desert" in the north of lucilla, the only debuff i had was the "slow" debuff of the tempest.
I have a rogue, but he doesn't seem to have the same problem (he hit 90% of the time when it say 95% and miss 1/2 when it say 50%...)

Ok, is the weapon he is using above his his character level? Im pretty sure that has an effect on to hit chance. If the creatures you are attacking are higher level than you that also has an effect on your chance to hit. I had this problem when I was much lower level than you and both of these problems were causing me to miss all the time (Despite saying %95 to hit that was not the adjusted chance, the adjusted chance seemed to be about 10%) I switched out my weapon to one equal to my level and started going for battles around my level or one above at most and fared much better.

(sorry for my late answer, I was on a week end trip)

I'm playing just as you : weapon of the same level (I don't like the increased cost in AP, the 2H sword i'm using is lvl 14 and my character was 15) and enemy more or less my level....(spiders in the desert are 14-15).

Now she is 16, i havn't met again the same row of miss but still : if my hit chance are 50% (or less), I miss 90% of the time...which is odd.

And my rogue is still fine
