well after a litle break playing something else i have returned to finish this beast of a game

anyway i have discovered after reading these forums that one can save before finding something and reloading for better stats,long story short i have found the dragon gloves and am getting silly extreme different stats on these gloves
a good example is the sell value i have had as low as 1500 gold and as high as 28000 gold.

Anyway i have spent the best part of 2 hrs mucking about with this and was wondering what sorts of things other people have had as i am getting bogged down in constantly rechecking just "in case" an even better set is at the next reload.

so any other warriors what did u get on your dragon gloves and you were happy with?

nice AC....i never managed to get more than 200.... and yet, 4!!!! (four) skills to an item is DEFINITELY a must-see...!!!

Will the stats be affected by the level i am now?

as i seem to be getting much lower stats than some of those shown,for instance lets just say i found the dragon gloves or any of the major items at level 10 would the stats reflect that level,i.e. be very good for that level but only good for a 20 and ok for a 30 and not good for a 40 and so on,or are they completely random generated whatever your level

The items are completely random generated. Your level has nothing to do with them.
However it depends on your level which types of items your opponents drop.

Actually, I believe the character level does somewhat effect the generated stats - the higher the level, the better chance you have of getting stats in the upper range for that item.
In a game to try for the lowest level finish, Ariana reloaded a large number of times trying to get a holy weapon with Frost around level 5, but failed. Returning at around level 10, she found it much easier to get a better sword. She hit the gong on level 12 (ending up in the wastelands at 17), then quit.

and it only took me 17 reloads <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> at level 31

i finaly decided on a set the specs are

dur 29/32
arm 220
charm 5
def +2
agil +6
magic +60
vitality +60
fire 20
lightning 15
poison 5
restoration +1
heavens gift +1


but i realy wanted high,armour durability and at least 4 charm slots so i was happy with these.

i spent about 4-5 hours reloading in total (yes i do realy need another hobby <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> )

yes i know i got heavens gift bleh <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
but restortation i use regularly and in conjuction with my mana drain sword and the spell and normal shield(bubble) is very handy
